Since 1989
GCAM has been the cornerstone of bringing together its community of members.
GCAM is a non-profit organization serving the Gujarati community of Memphis Metropolitan Area since it’s establishment. The purpose of GCAM is to unite the Gujarati community and ensuring that our tradition, values, and culture are held high with the changing times.
GCAM was started with just a few families in 1989 and has come a long way today with over 700 members and growing. The success of GCAM would not have been possible without our dedicated past and current committee members’ outstanding community service since GCAM’s inception.

Through the years, GCAM has become known for hosting a wide range of vibrant events and celebrations that bring our community together, including:
- Navratri Garba & Dandiya Nights
- Diwali Gala Dinner & Cultural Show
- Holi Festival of Colors
- Annual Family Picnic
- Bhajan Evenings & Religious Events
- Halloween & Christmas Celebrations
- Youth and Senior Engagement Programs
At GCAM, we believe that culture is not just remembered—it’s lived. Whether through festive celebrations, community outreach, or educational programs, we strive to pass on our cultural values to the next generation and create meaningful connections across all ages.
Join us as we celebrate our past, embrace our present, and shape a stronger, united future for the Gujarati community in Memphis.
